Miesha Weaver announces candidacy for CISD Board Position 7

Miesha Weaver has announced her candidacy for CISD Board Position 7.

“I’m a proud Conroe ISD alumni- Oak Ridge High School, a resident in the district for 34 years. I’m a mother of children currently attending CISD, a known volunteer within our community via the YMCA, PTO board and within our schools via reading to classrooms, accompanying on field trips and serving as room mom,” said Weaver.

“I believe our board should be a diverse representation of our community across the board and not just from one particular demographic. By serving hands on for many years, I was able to see the concerns, the needs, the difficulties, and even the accomplishments within our district firsthand,” said Weaver.  “I’m often referred to as the voice of the unheard, and take great pride in making sure everyone feels relevant and that they are being heard. Servitude is humbling and it gives me hope that I can encourage someone to also do something to make a difference in the lives of others. We all were put here for a purpose, you should discover that purpose and fulfill it.”
