Kelley Inman says she is the right choice for Conroe City Council Position 5 because she will fight for residents.
“I am a retired teacher and a long time citizen of Conroe, Texas, of 45 years. I have always been active in my church and community throughout that time. I have been married 30 years to my husband, Dale Inman, and raised both of our daughters here. I am dedicated to improving the lives of others and have proven this by personally assisting families and individuals who were in need, by inviting them into my home,” she said.
Inman believes her track record of working for the city through multiple avenues makes her the most-qualified candidate for the position.
“As a retired teacher, business owner, and community volunteer, I understand the needs of people from all walks of life. I also understand the financial aspects involved in running a city. You, the citizen, are my concern. I believe in fiscal responsibility and financial integrity. I will use the highest care with your tax dollars. I understand it is your money not the government’s,” she said.
She vows to ensure that first responders are properly equipped, that mobility is improved and that tax dollars are used responsibly.
“I will fight to end excessive taxation by ending overspending. When overspending ends,
over-taxation ends. I will demand an effective tax rate as well as demand our city to be and work better,” Inman said.
