David Miller is seeking the position of Position 3 on the East Montgomery County Improvement District Board. Miller has lived most of his life in East Montgomery County and says he lives, breathes, shops, dines and experiences the community the same as everyone else, and has a passion for helping the community.
“I have been truly blessed to be employed with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office for approximately 30 Years, serving the majority of this time right here on our home front, where so many I have met over these years, through the trials and triumphs, we have always prevailed as our greatness far outweighs the bad,” Miller said.
Miller is a member of Porter Fire Department, EMC Fair Association, EMC Chamber of Commerce, among other organizations.
“I’ve worked with budgets and finances with success and have proven myself. I’ve been given the opportunity to run for East Montgomery County Improvement District Position #3, and I accepted that challenge,” he said.
Miller vows to strive for doing the right thing, assisting whenever possible and giving straight information because it is the right thing to do even when it is not what someone wants to hear.
“Being a Commissioner on this board may yet bring more opportunities to serve you, to hopefully provide answers to those questions that many ask but go unanswered,” he said. “I believe that we should encourage more quality of life businesses to build along our main corridor of I-69 where the thoroughfare already exists, thus supporting our own economy. One must work with the other board members to make this happen. I personally do not have a business to gain from this position, nor do I have personal friends that may be a conflict, as I simply want the best for you and our community.”
Miller is asking for the voters in EMCID to give him an opportunity to serve.
“I ask for your vote and will do my absolute best not to disappoint if elected, and will work for the positive difference. I appreciate the support from those who are pushing my name on Social Media as I encourage anyone that is not familiar with me, to learn a thorough knowledge of all candidates and exercise your right to Vote. God Bless our Great Community, Montgomery County, the State of Texas, and the Greatest Country on Earth, the United States of America,” he said. “Do not be afraid and make your Voice heard.”
