HEB’S in Montgomery County and across Houston will treat employees to meals from local restaurants on March 27

HEB’S in the area are hosting Texans Helping Texans Take-Out Day on Friday, March 27.

Every store in Montgomery County and Houston will be ordering food for their entire staff from a local restaurant to help promote their business. Gary Hefner, General Manager for the HEB at FM 1488 and Tamina Road in Magnolia, said his store will be ordering from Eden Café, and will be providing a meal for the 150 employees at his store who are working on March 27. Hefner is taking it a step further, and is challenging his friends to get lunch or dinner at Eden Café as well. Hefner said if you’re too far away from Eden Cafe, find a local restaurant close to you to support.

“These restaurants need our help,” Hefner told Bluebonnet News.

Operating hours for takeout at Eden Café are Monday through Saturday, from eleven a.m. to eight p.m. Hefner said he’s picking up food for his store at eleven the morning of the 27th, which will include large pans of chicken fettucine alfredo and salad.

Hefner said the HEB on Six Pines is getting food from Brother’s Pizza, the Woodlands HEB on Kuykendahl is getting food from Crust Pizza, the HEB off Loop 336 in Conroe is ordering from Vernon’s Kuntry Katfish and the HEB on Frazier is getting food from Joe’s Italian Kitchen.
