Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office searches for occupants of a stolen vehicle from San Jacinto County


On January 9, 2020, at about 7:45 AM, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 20000 block of Old Sorters Road in Porter, in reference to an abandoned vehicle. When deputies arrived, the reportee stated a dark blue 2001 Chevrolet Suburban was located in his pasture, which was cold to the touch. After further investigation, Deputies learned the vehicle was stolen out of San Jacinto County. Evidence located inside the vehicle led Deputies to the Stripe’s gas station at 23845 FM 1314 in Porter, where video was obtained. The suspects were seen getting out of the stolen vehicle earlier that morning at about 5:30 AM and entering the store.
