Houston Methodist The Woodlands hosted free photos with Santa along with a toy drive on Dec. 7. The toy drive benefits the Montgomery County Sheriff Office’s Operation Blue Elf program.
“We’re just helping the community, we have a Santa for pictures for our staff and the community, all while supporting a great cause,” said Kerrie Guerrero, Houston Methodist The Woodlands Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer.
It is the first year Houston Methodist The Woodlands is helping Operation Blue Elf, and Hospital Officials said they expected to collect about 200 toys for the program.
Houston Methodist The Woodlands recently announced their $240-million-dollar campus expansion, and their Physical and Occupational Therapy Clinic will be opening at the end of this month.
Guerrero said it is a world-renowned facility.
“It has a football field, basketball court, some anti-gravity neuro-rehab and pelvic floor rehab. It’s going to be an incredible facility,” said Guerrero.
