Montgomery County Precinct 3 Commissioner James Noack held his ninth annual Christmas with the Commissioner event at the Woodlands Country Club on Dec. 3.

“In 2011, when I was running for office, I wanted to be able to do something to give back to the community right away, said Commissioner Noack. We decided we would try to collect toys to donate to local charities, and it’s grown from that to an event to where this year we were able to give away $36,500 to different organizations as well as be able to provide $10,000 in toys to Interfaith Ministries.”

Senator Brandon Creighton and his son, Linda Nelson and Memorial Hermann The Woodlands CEO Josh Urban at Commissioner Noack’s Christmas event.

Noack said of the $36,500 that was raised, $12,550 goes to Memorial Hermann The Woodlands, $4,000 to Love Fosters Hope, $4,000 to the CISD Education Foundation, $4,000 to AVM Research Foundation, $4,000 to the Comeaux Family Dental Practice, $4,000 to Yes to Youth and $4,000 to Think Neurology.

Josh Urban is CEO of Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center.

“For the second year in a row, we’ve received a very generous gift from the Commissioner and his family and his foundation. We’re just very excited to have their support and put it to good use for children in our facility,” said Urban.
