Second round of Tropical Storm Imelda debris cleanup to start Oct. 28

This is debris cleanup information from the Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management.

Montgomery County Emergency Management Director Darren Hess says if you haven’t had a chance to get your debris out, because you might be waiting on insurance or waiting on FEMA, don’t wait.

“Take your photographs, document what you have, get your debris and damaged property out to the right-of-way,” Hess said.

Hess said about 20,000 cubic yards of debris was picked up during the first round of cleanup.
