Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Crime of the Week-ATV Theft

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office continues to look for the suspects involved in the theft of a black camo Polaris Razor 900 side-by-side from a business in the 13200 block of Kidd Road in Conroe on Oct. 3.

According to reports and surveillance video, the suspects arrived in a white Ram 3500 4-door truck with a black brush guard and a white decal on the back glass, possibly of an American flag. This vehicle was seen pulling into the gated driveway of the business where the ATV was found just on the other side of the gate. Moments later, the ATV was seen leaving the area.

“With hunting season coming up right around the corner, it’s been my experience, we see kind of a spike a little bit in ATV/UTV thefts,” Montgomery County Sheriff’s Specialist Lee Knudsen said. “A lot of hunters are packing things up, getting ready to go to their leases, putting things on the backs of trailers and leaving them overnight, and they come up missing.”

Anyone with information on the theft of the ATV from the business off Kidd Road in Conroe on Oct. 3, is encouraged to call the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office or Multi-County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-392-7867, and refer to case #19A321223.
