Montgomery ISD Board takes no action on alleged hazing incident at special meeting Friday

The Montgomery ISD Board of Trustees Friday morning took no action in regards to an alleged hazing incident involving students off campus at a private residence, and will further discuss the matter at the regular board meeting Tuesday night.

The Board held the special meeting to consider a couple of items, including reviewing Board Policy and Procedures, and then were scheduled to tour some campuses. They first went into executive session to discuss the discipline involving a public school student in regards to alleged student misconduct.

The school district started a preliminary criminal investigation into the alleged incident on Sept. 30. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office became involved with the investigation on Oct. 4.

Friday night’s Montgomery High School varsity football game against Huntsville was forfeited earlier this week.
