On Sept. 19, deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 29000 block of Aldine Westfield in Spring in reference to fraud. When deputies arrived, they reportedly learned the victim’s purse, containing her cell phone and credit cards, had been stolen from her vehicle while she was dropping her kids off at daycare.
The woman contacted her bank and was told two fraudulent charges had been made at the Kroger’s located at 2150 Spring Stuebner Road in Spring. The charges made to the victim’s credit card more than $1,000. Detectives were able to obtain surveillance video from the time of the charges, which show the suspect allegedly using the victim’s credit card.
