Montgomery HS varsity football game against Huntsville forfeited

Montgomery Independent School District officials say Montgomery High School’s home varsity football game that was scheduled for Oct. 11 will be forfeited, following an investigation into allegations of violations of the District’s Athletic Code of Conduct by student athletes.

On Sept. 30, MISD started a preliminary investigation into an alleged hazing incident that involved numerous District students at an off-campus private residence.

On Oct. 4, detectives with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office met with officers from the MISD Police Department to coordinate the transition of the investigation.

Once the investigation is finished, it will be forwarded over to the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office for review.
