The winning “Quick Pick” ticket for Wednesday night’s Texas Lotto was sold at MURPHY USA 6916, located at 18702 Highway 105 in Montgomery, Texas.

Texas Lottery officials said the cash option was selected and the winner will receive $18,067,668.07. The prize has not yet been claimed. The winner has 180 days from the draw date to claim the prize.

“It’s been a very exciting week for Texas Lottery players,” said Gary Grief, executive director of the Texas Lottery, in a media statement.

“A day after having a Mega Millions jackpot winner in the state of Texas, we are thrilled to now have our largest Lotto Texas jackpot winner of the year. If you have the winning ticket, we encourage you to sign the ticket, put it in a safe place, seek financial and legal advice, and call the Texas Lottery before coming to Austin to claim the prize. We look forward to meeting you,” Grief said.

“We’re super excited and delighted for the winner,” MURPHY USA District Manager Jose Rodriguez told Bluebonnet News.”

Rodriguez said there are 1,300 MURPHY USA stores in 23 states across the nation.

Rodriguez said although this winner’s life will certainly be impacted, he’s happy that Texas lottery ticket sales go back to help support the Foundation School Program in Texas, adding that the Texas Lottery has contributed more than 24-billion dollars to the program.

“We are honored to be able to partner with an organization that is making such a meaningful contribution to the Texas Community,” said Rodriguez.
