Two people killed during takeoff at Conroe airport


The Department of Public Safety said 61-year-old Ronald Dennison and 41-year-old Alison Arnold, both of The Woodlands, were both killed after the plane they were in crashed during takeoff Saturday night at the Conroe North Houston Regional Airport.

DPS Sergeant Erik Burse said Dennison was the pilot of the Cessna 185 plane. It took off at 6:25 p.m. Saturday from the airport, then crashed.

Both Dennison and Arnold were pronounced dead at the scene. The FAA is investigating the crash.
