UPDATE, 11 a.m. Wednesday:
Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office continues the investigation into the disappearance of a Magnolia area teen. Several agencies assisted in the search during the nighttime hours including blood hound tracking dogs and trained Search and Rescue volunteers.
Despite their efforts, Cambron was not found in the wooded area where her UTV and phone were found; however, the search is being expanded beyond the initial wooded area. Detectives are looking into all possible scenarios surrounding her disappearance.
“We urge the public against plans of forming private search parties- as the inclement weather we are experiencing could pose a risk to untrained volunteers. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is in contact with trained search and rescue organizations who are used in investigations such as this,” a statement from MCSO reads.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office asks the public to follow credible and verified government and media sources for information surrounding the disappearance of Ryder Cambron.
