A woman remains in critical condition after she was struck close to her driveway on FM 2090 in Splendora. It happened sometime between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. Sunday morning.

DPS Sergeant Erik Burse said the victim, whose name and age is not being released at this time, was jogging and was westbound on 2090 facing traffic, and was struck 100 to 150 feet from her driveway.

A witness found the victim laying in a ditch and called 911.

“The suspect vehicle we’re looking for is a white or light gray Hyundai, with significant damage to the front passenger side. It is also missing the entire right side of the fog lamp assembly, as well as the right side mirror and right side panel over the tire,” said Burse.
